Christ University adopts a two-stage process for admitting candidates:

There are two sessions of selection process conducted in Christ. The first one happens during Jan and the second one during March. So after the application is sent, they will send you an invite for the selection process. The selection process consist of a Micro presentation which is nothing but an extempore, GD, and a personal interview.

You will be grouped into groups of 10 and each one will be given a topic and you have to talk on that for 2 mins. The topics for the extempore will be given to you before 2 weeks so you can prepare well on those topics.

After the extempore, there will be a GD for the group. These two process is just to check your communication skills and your confidence level. This will be on day one and if you get selected in this then you will be called for the personal interview the next day. Almost all the candidates clear the first round and go to the personal interview.

c) Quantitative ability

There are two broad areas which will be covered here. These are arithmetic and algebra taught till grade X. In arithmetic expect topics such as profit and loss plus discounts, percentage, partnership, pipes and cisterns, time and work, time, speed and distance, averages, age, alligation and mixture, questions on upstream and downstream movement and circular tracks, compound interest and simple interest, relative speed, and ratio and proportion. Algebra questions such as angles, and lines, areas and volumes, BODMAS rule, equations, number system, probability, LCM and HCF, permutation, height distance, set theory and venn diagram, properties of quadrilaterals and triangles.

d) Logical reasoning

The questions will be of two kinds. One is critical reasoning and other is verbal reasoning. In critical reasoning there will be questions from number and letter series, odd one out, blood relation based, coding and decoding, direction and distance, seating arrangement, matrix arrangement. Second will be verbal reasoning.
